This robotic vacuum-mop is an ideal choice for those who live in apartments as it has smaller docking systems and comes with its own trash bin. The app allows you to select different modes and monitor cleaning and mopping. The mopping feature impresses.
Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it is able to mops extremely well, picking up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans, and refills its tank.
iRobot Roomba Combo
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an easier-to-use mobile app but it does make for a strong alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other features like LiDAR, yet it did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo includes the majority of the same features as the j7 Plus with the addition of new acoustic sensors onboard to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation. However, it isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the version that uses vacuum, and doesn't come with a self-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. helpful resources is also one of the best I've seen in the industry. The clean matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small details--like a leather tab to open the bin onboard and a shelf in the dock to hold extra bags--are more elegant than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robot vacuum and mop market has already made its mark with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, while the mopping systems of the brand come with vibrating mops that can scrub floors to remove dirt. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options let you fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your home's specific needs.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its own height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most well-known models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind in terms of navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into furniture and run over pet faeces and faeces with no awareness but the Qrevo Master solves this issue with Reactive AI, which makes use of twin cameras to discern objects in the room.

It's a little smaller than the other models and its main brush is smaller but it was able to do to do a good job in our test room. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a great feature. Although best robot vacuum wasn't able to remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it still performed well.

It's easy to control using the app, and a range of voice output options can keep you informed about the condition of your home robot.
